Spotlight on DashMart

DashMart is a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our consumers’ doorsteps. On DashMart, you’ll find thousands of convenience, grocery, and restaurant items, from ice cream and chips, to cough medicine and dog food, to spice rubs and packaged desserts from the local restaurants you love on DoorDash. DashMart stores are owned, operated, and curated by DoorDash. Our team is scaling this business to the next level and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the last-mile logistics space.

Spotlight on Drive

The Drive team is responsible for providing merchants access to a suite of fulfillment services, powered by the DoorDash logistics platform and Dasher network. Using Drive, merchants can power delivery directly to their customers across a growing set of use cases (food, grocery, retail, pharmaceuticals and more). Our vision is to expand Drive to servicing all local commerce, including transactions occurring at restaurants, brick-and-mortar retailers and with private buyers and sellers on peer-to-peer marketplaces.

Initially, the focus of the team will be moving away from our existing Python based service architecture to our new Kotlin based platform.
